The Capulet is a very old hood worn by the women of the Pyrenean mountains
Headdress typical of women in the western, central, and eastern Pyrenees (Aude, Cerdanya, Roussillon: caputxa in Catalan) in use in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. We combined it with the shoulder warmer of our iconic cape to create an accessory to serve as a headdress and cover the shoulders and upper body of a sweater or coat or even a duffle coat.
The Capulet uses the authentic fabric of the Pyrenees, made in Ariège, as a material and combines in XS, S, M, L and XL – It closes with a boxwood button
It can be folded and stored in a bag – It was also designed to be used by pilgrims as it protects the upper body from the weather without interfering with walking while giving its user a confidential character conducive to meditation or discretion within a community.
Is done for the moment in brown burel and ecru, we hope to offer it soon in grege.
